Shane Davis is a singer-songwriter from Huntsville, AL and the namesake of the band. He cut his teeth with local rock and roll group Black Market Salesmen. With the Salesmen he was featured international publications Classic Rock Magazine and Relix Magazine. The Salesmen also received radio plays in New York and London. Shane Davis has played many regional venues and festivals, such has the annual Huntsville festival Panoply, Porch Fest, BoroStock in Murfreesboro, and Spice Fest. He has shared the stage with acts such as Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, The Pollies, and the Seratones. In early 2020 he formed the Shane Davis Group to work on solo material. In February of 2021 the band traveled to Marietta, GA to record new material with Grammy nominated producer Joey Huffman (Soul Asylum, Matchbox 20, Hank Jr) at the Vault Recording Lounge. These sessions yielded the singles "Back Burner", "Ocean Song" and "Going Underground". They recorded a new E.P "Concerning Comfort, which released March 30th, 2024. The album was celebrated with a sold out show at St. Stephen's Music Hall. The Shane Davis Group continues to perform all across the Southeastern United States.
